Snaggletooth Posted August 31, 2009 #1 Posted August 31, 2009 (edited) One of my coworkers just called and asked about the warrenty on a Star bike. He knew I try to keep up on stuff and we had talked in the past about the RSV and the 5 year coverage on it. He's looking at the 900cc to 950cc range models and is getting two different stories on them from two different dealers. One said one year and the other said two years. And of course they were both pushing the extended coverage. I'm not up to date on the other models and I can't find what I'm looking for on the net yet. Anybody got an answer? eusa1 Posted August 31, 2009 #2 Posted August 31, 2009 royal star venture, and royal star tour deluxe, come with 5 year unlimited warranty and covers any failure other than tires, brakes and maint. items, yet you can buy a service contract that will take care of oil changes and such. all other star line street bikes come with 12 month warranty and an additional 4 year plan can be purchased at addition cost to you.. the plan is called {Y.E.S} yamaha extended service contract the plans that you purchase, can be transfered to another owner for a fee. the plans that come with the bike, are available to all ownwers and cost nothing to transfer.
