Just browsing the posts and saw the pics of the "great driveway embarrassment" of '07 and have this question: what is "the "walk it up" pick up theory"? My '03 RSV has had me down a couple times and fortunately I've been able to get it upright WHEN it's fallen uphill. Otherwise, it's hunt up lots of help. Is there a trick to this besides "don't let it get down in the first place"?

Another post talked about mice farting in a tin can. My therapist has spent the better part of 5 years trying to convince me I'm the only one who'd trap mice for that purpose. Can't wait to share that post with her.

And, finally, I'm going to give it my best shot to be in Charleston next Saturday for the meet and eat--I'll leave all furry things and duct tape home.

There's a post somewhere on this site on how to get it up, but it's quite easy really:

When the scoot falls over, turn your back to the scoot, put the center of your butt to the edge of the seat, one hand on the handle bar and one on the back grab bar, and walk backwards, pushing into the seat with your butt, and up it goes. Be prepared to do this twice as the first time you may walk it too far and have to do the same from the other side.

Mine laid itself down this summer along side a hyway while I was paying more attention to the trailer it was supposed to be towing. It only had about 30 seconds rest before it was back up straight once more. My wife had never seen me do this so she was on the high side trying her very best to give assistance. Boy that was hard work she said, and I kind of laughed and said: Not at all I didn't even sweat with you helping me.

NOTE: experience is a good teacher.

Thank you. That makes a lot of sense. I've been facing the bike and even straddled it once, I'm sure going to try your method IF (when) it happens again.
