mraf Posted August 30, 2009 #1 Posted August 30, 2009 Ok, if anyone knows how to stop the rain PLEASE,PLEASE,PLEASE make it so! We normally on a average have about 6 inches of rain a summer. This year we are somewhere around 30. It rains everyday or everyother day. We've had 4 days straight without rain all summer. This s##ks. If this is what climate change means. I'm planting rice next year. OK, thanks for letting me vent.
BuckShot Posted August 30, 2009 #2 Posted August 30, 2009 Bite the bullet and put the rain suit on and ride.
Tom Posted August 30, 2009 #3 Posted August 30, 2009 Can you possibly send some rain down here to Central/South Texas area? We need it bad..really bad.
McBrush Posted August 30, 2009 #5 Posted August 30, 2009 This morning's radar in NE Ohio - clear. Chance of rain 0% until 6pm when it is only 10%. Go out this morning for Sunday paper - need my windshield wipers. Even a good forecast means nothing these days!
RandyR Posted August 30, 2009 #6 Posted August 30, 2009 raining here today in north Georgia. AGAIN... Last year the tree huggers were wooping it up about global warming because of a drought we had. Wonder what they have to say about this year?

massey130 Posted August 30, 2009 #11 Posted August 30, 2009 for those needing rain, i would gladly send some of what we are getting here in south east Louisiana. it seems to rain when i am either off work or on Friday when we can wear jeans & is the best day for me to ride to work. although 2 days after a rain is the best condition for our gravel road to take me to asphalt. anyone have a cheaper source for air filters than the local stealer? dale in La.
Freebird Posted August 30, 2009 #12 Posted August 30, 2009 I don't know of any standard filters other than those from Yamaha. Some have switched to K&N Filters. They are a little higher than stock but can then be cleaned and re-used.
