Carbon-One Lift Adapter

I'd thought about the "hitch pin" method too....just haven't gotten around to getting some.

 

Another idea I am contemplating is putting wheels on the leg base plates. 'nuther one of those "round toit's". Considering the slight movement of the legs in the adapter slots, I'm not sure if I'd retain the stability tho. Possibly a "U" shaped base might work ... the adapter legs would just sit on it ...

 

Check out the tool supply shops, they often sell adjustable tool bench portable bases that will hold 1500 lbs that you might be able to adapt to the C1 adapter.. if I'm able to find one at a good price I'll be giving it a go..

 

Thus far on my adapter I glued plywood pads under the feet as to avoid damaging the garage floor paint..

Worth every penny! By the way Larry, I have put a sidecar on my 02 RSMV (Sylvester). You need to come up with a lift adapter to lift the whole thing.

Thanks, but not wide enough. Bike and car is out to out 76". I will come up with a solution.

I got my lift from Larry a short while back and this is the best "attachment" I have bought to date. Right off you notice no need to pay the shops to take the tire off the bike there by saving close to half the cost of the lift. Oil changes have to be a breeze and cleaning the bike a whole new chore......

 

If your thinking of buying one your wasting the time just but it it will save you a bunch of work in the long run.
