SilvrT Posted August 27, 2009 #1 Posted August 27, 2009 Anyone got one of these? http://www.xm-radio-satellite.com/pdfs/antennas/AWSR-232045MT_detailed_information.pdf
edger Posted August 27, 2009 #2 Posted August 27, 2009 Can't say as I do. I'm not too into paying for radio. Thats why I have an mp3 player. Much cheaper. A lot of my riding is done in the quiet anyway, I can't justify paying for radio I would not listen enough. Different strokes.
timgray Posted August 27, 2009 #3 Posted August 27, 2009 It's a helical antenna. they work down south and more to the middle of the states. they work poorly up here in Michigan. I had one that came with my portable radio, it only had 1 bar signal compared to the full 4 bars the flat patch antenna gave me.

I like my XM ... lots of different channels to go to that will suit a person's mood and I also use it in the house and my truck... one subscription, 3 different places.
bongobobny Posted August 27, 2009 #5 Posted August 27, 2009 I'm using the regular magnetic base unit that comes with most XM radios, but bought another one on fleabay for around $10 plus free shipping. Works gtreat!!
