CrazyHorse Posted August 26, 2009 #1 Posted August 26, 2009 Thanks you RandyA and Squeeze your suggestions helped. My speedometer was off by 10 mph it dead on at higher speeds now at lower ones its just slightly off now. RandyA your speedometer fix worked very well my speedos pretty accurate now. Squeeze thanks for your suggestion on replacing the clutch pressure plate bearing I had a serious whine at all RPMS but now I just have it at 3000 rpm so for most of my ride if I stay off of 3000 rpm I no longer have the whine. Thanks to both of you.
Venturous Randy Posted August 26, 2009 #2 Posted August 26, 2009 Thanks and glad you posted your results as I was wondering about it. I am glad it worked out for you. On mine, and I don't remember it being as much as 10mph off, I see the transition up thru the speeds to be fine. We routinely have the radar units set up along our streets to show people how fast they are going and when I can isolate myself enough from traffic, I will run thru them at various speeds. I have found that I am right on at 25mph or 65mph. RandyA
