Bummer Posted August 25, 2009 #1 Posted August 25, 2009 I've chopped up the photo so I can post some detail. Sorry about the sliceage. The original won't fit on here anywhere, but I'll be glad to send it to anyone who wants it. The image file is about ten megs in size.
calperin Posted August 25, 2009 #2 Posted August 25, 2009 10 MB are not going to feet as attachement on an e-mail. We will need an FTP to put it there to download. IF there are more people interested on it, I can arrange it. Carlos

Bummer Posted August 26, 2009 Author #22 Posted August 26, 2009 10 MB are not going to feet as attachement on an e-mail. We will need an FTP to put it there to download. IF there are more people interested on it, I can arrange it. Carlos Thanks for the tip, Carlos. I did a bit of research on Comcast's site. They limit the maximum email file size to 10mb. With headers and encoding an email with this pic attached would be way over the 10mb limit. Many providers have a lower limit. I also learned that the providers bounce oversized emails without any form of notification going either direction. Quite the educational morning. I'd like anyone who wants a copy to be able to have one. How to accomplish this seems to be the issue. If you'd like to host the photo also, well, that's certainly fine with me. I don't intend to assert any form of copyright over it. As far as I'm concerned it belongs to us all. I uploaded the pic to my web space. http://home.comcast.net/~s_bumgardner/SquidNLonnaGroup.jpg (Right click save, folks.) If it gets downloaded enough they'll shut me down over bandwidth. If that's the case, well, downloaders'll just have to wait until next month.
calperin Posted August 26, 2009 #23 Posted August 26, 2009 Bummer, Downloaded from your web site, take 9,296 kB and was OK. Fast from the office (we got a couple of DS3 here). Regards, Carlos
Bummer Posted August 26, 2009 Author #24 Posted August 26, 2009 I'm glad it finally worked. Pity the poor guy on dialup.
ibents Posted August 26, 2009 #25 Posted August 26, 2009 What great pictures guys, sorry we couldn't make it, had a very good friends 50th birthday, but it looks like everyone had a very good time and I'm sure plenty to eat. Ian
