I prefer radials, bias ply tires is old, out dated.

Bias ply tires have been obsolete on cars since the early 80's, actually demed unsafe on auto's. why is the motorcycle industry so far behind.

I remember reading something about this recently in this document: http://mc.bridgestone.co.jp/pdf/mcintroe.pdf

 

It says that on radials the sidewalls are weaker than with bias ply, which then requires extra cost construction techniques for MC tires.
