chabicheka Posted September 8, 2009 #26 Posted September 8, 2009 I had a wonderful time too. what a beautiful day, beautiful route, beautiful people.you included, Carl, so get that frown off your face! Very enjoyable day, overall. Decided to split up after that good lunch at that Scottish restaurant in Thornbury. Wayne is too nice a guy. Him being the Tailgunner, i just couldn't do it to him......you know....after a BIG lunch....( am sure you all get the d..r.i..f..t.) So thanks again to the organizers ( Carl and Wayne ) i guess, and their spouses of course.. and all that came out yesterday to make this labour day, a day to remember. Am glad i quit when i did. Boy, was i feeling tired as i got closer to home! Went straight in bed for a nap! looking forward to the next meet and greet and meeting you folks, and others again. at my age, it takes meeting people a few times to remember their names. abdul.
