boominup Posted August 25, 2009 #1 Posted August 25, 2009 This is just a sample of yesterday's sea of chrome. It was the "Miracle Ride for Special Olympics" held at the Polo Grounds in Farmington , CT. Some are saying approx. 10,000 people!! You had better remember where you left your bike!! From now on when I go on big Rides like this I'm putting the flagpole on the scoot and flying Old Glory! Boomer.....who hates playing hide and seek with a scoot.

boominup Posted August 26, 2009 Author #7 Posted August 26, 2009 This was my 1st event but I think this was the 8th year. It is a very successful event and it helps to send special needs kids to the Special Olympics. I'll never forget the smiles on their faces when this event got rolling. Brian

Brian Drop me a line next year, I may well be able to attend and participate.. My club does a lot of fund raising around, our charity is CHAMP (Child Amputees) of the WAR AMPS of Canada.. Good job!
