Herb In Texas Posted August 24, 2009 #1 Posted August 24, 2009 I cannot remember how to color in the states map. I need to fill in Utah after our trip. Any help would be apreciated. I know I'm a dolt so those comments are wasted. Thanks Herb:hihi:
mini-muffin Posted August 24, 2009 #2 Posted August 24, 2009 Just go back to the site where you got the map. That's the only way I know how to do it. Then save it again. Here's the site in case you can't find it. http://www.epgsoft.com/index.html Margaret
Herb In Texas Posted August 24, 2009 Author #3 Posted August 24, 2009 That worked, and thanks for the link. You rock.
eagleeye Posted September 21, 2009 #4 Posted September 21, 2009 Anyone know how to get the states visited and provinces visted both on my sig? Steve
Scooter Bob Posted September 21, 2009 #5 Posted September 21, 2009 Anyone know how to get the states visited and provinces visted both on my sig? Steve Go to USER CP>Edit Signature, and you load it in there Good Luck, Scooter Bob
eagleeye Posted September 21, 2009 #6 Posted September 21, 2009 Thanks Bob, but I know that. What I'd like to know is how to make them one picture so that I can load both at the same time. I've tried to load them both, but only one stays. Cant get them both to stay. Steve

I've tried to load them both, but only one stays. Cant get them both to stay. Steve Do you have image software that would let you merge them into one photo? Then you can upload the composite. The GIMP will do it, and it is free. You can try BigHugeLab's Mosaic Maker, but I haven't done that with two images, so caveat utilitor. Dave
Ozlander Posted September 21, 2009 #8 Posted September 21, 2009 You have to use a photo editing software to merge the two pictures. If I remember right the Canadian map needs to be stretched to fit right.
eagleeye Posted September 21, 2009 #9 Posted September 21, 2009 Thanks, I'll work on it, now that I know what to do. Steve
anzactm Posted May 24, 2014 #10 Posted May 24, 2014 I,m I computer dinosaur, where do I find the states visited maps and how do you get them on your page?
Prairiehammer Posted May 24, 2014 #11 Posted May 24, 2014 Go here to get your personalized map: http://www.epgsoft.com/VisitedStatesMap/ Follow directions and your map will be saved on your computer. I suggest you save your map to the desktop, just to make it easier to find later. Following the download to your computer of the desired map, go to your user CP on VentureRider site and edit your signature to include the map image.
eagleeye Posted December 7, 2014 #13 Posted December 7, 2014 It's 5 years later, and I still haven't figured out how to add both maps. I tried the links but they didn't work. Any help would be appreciated
Freebird Posted December 7, 2014 #14 Posted December 7, 2014 You have to make it ONE map. Mine is actually the three images combined and saved as one.
eagleeye Posted December 7, 2014 #15 Posted December 7, 2014 Thanks, making it one picture is the hard part. I've tried with what I have on my computer, but can't get it saved. I'll work on it. And as I read it, the 3 made into one need to be no bigger than 100X500, which should work.
Freebird Posted December 7, 2014 #16 Posted December 7, 2014 Yes, I don't even remember the exact size restriction now. You can see mine though.
Prairiehammer Posted December 7, 2014 #17 Posted December 7, 2014 You have to make it ONE map. Mine is actually the three images combined and saved as one. On my signature, I actually have three images; the Big Red One, the US map and the Canadian map. The Big Red One image came from my computer, but the two maps come from my photobucket account. I did this before the change, so I am not sure how to replicate if needed. Hopefully, won't have to...unless of course, I chalk up more States and Provinces.
Freebird Posted December 7, 2014 #18 Posted December 7, 2014 I implemented some changes long ago because some folks signatures were taking half a page. Those changes probably need to be redone since the change but I haven't gotten around to it and most folks are being pretty good. The signatures can be fun but I don't think they should be very large. What is very large? I'm not sure. That is what has to be looked at and decided.

Am I one of those folks that has been 'pretty good' or is my signature too expansive?
Freebird Posted December 7, 2014 #20 Posted December 7, 2014 I'm not sure. I guess I would consider yours "moderate". Probably about as large as any should be I think.
