Well off in the morning to Fort Campbell to see my nephew before he deploys again for Iraq. Please remember him in your prayers.

Jay

Prayers and thanks to your Nephew. My Nephew recently returned from southern Afganistan. 10th Mountian Fox. I really feel prayers kept him alive.

Thank him for us Jay for protecting our Freedom.

And tell him - he and his Company are in our hearts and prayers.

Dear Lord we ask you to look over our troops and their familys as they do their duty of serving our One Nation under God. Amen

What is you nephew's name? I will pray for him.

Also since many members seem to have a son, daughter, relative or friend in the armed services, what if we have the names listed somewhere on the forum so we can all pray for their safety and quick return to home?

His name is Dusty Rigdon. And I think a listing would be great. Maybe Don could help us out with a good way to do that other than individual posts?? Oh Don..............Are you listening.

Jay, Have a safe trip. We have him in our prayers. Just let him know if he needs anything to sign in here and we'll lend a hand. Thanks to him and all the service people for keeping us safe.

Jay, Give your nephew our thanks for his service. We will add him to our prayer list.

I left Ft. Campbell for a far off land many years ago, (Vietnam). This "leg" wishes "airborne" the best.

Come back safe and sound.

P.S. I made the meet & eat with you,Bill,Allan, etc back earlier this summer to Hannibal.

Well, we had a good visit with my nephew and his buddies this weekend, but kind of hate to see them have to head back. They have already been once and seem ready, so that's good. Lot of new recruits heading over with them that didn't look so ready.

Told them how much we all respected them and remembered them in our prayers and believe me they really appreciate it.

Thanks again,

Jay

In these challenging times of instant gratification and the 'it's all about me' attitudes, it says a lot about the character of the parents that were able somehow to instill the values of self sacrifice, greater good, and honor into these young people. My children are very young, and I hope I never have to send them off to those places. On the other hand, I hope that they will grow up with those kind of values whether or not they choose to serve. My Brother in Law is hoping to return home in December. We're praying for his safe return as well.

Hats off to you and all of the other parents for raising such extraordinary kids.

We pray for their safe return, and also a safe return for all of our young men and women.

We are all grateful for his sacrifise, I do somewhat know what he feels like as I spent 8 months over there at the 1st dance. He's in our thoughts Jay, and thankful for his dedication to duty...Semper Fi
