jneed53 Posted August 18, 2009 #1 Posted August 18, 2009 Well, the Kumho was a champ on the Dragon last week. I rode from Dallas to Vogel at high speeds, in rain, at low speeds, on interstates, on back roads, and on the twisties. I had absolutely no issues with wobbling and/or tar snakes. Cornering was great. I am settled in at 38 psi for now. It seems to be a good pressure for me.
Magnawake Posted August 18, 2009 #2 Posted August 18, 2009 Glad to hear yall made it back. I found our pics on Killboy on the last page. Pretty good pics, but my mirror was covering my face. Oh well... It was great staying in the cabin with you guys. We saw a real bad wreck on I-26 on the way home. Must have had fatalities. When we drove by, thank godness it was in the oposing lanes, the people were just getting out of thier cages, the smoke hadnt even cleared yet. I still dont like interstates. Give me a country road and a good view. Yes, your car tire worked good on the dragon. I was thinking of installing a Gumbo Mudder. The guys up in the North could even ride in the snow.
Wanderer Posted August 23, 2009 #3 Posted August 23, 2009 Where is every one getting the Kumho? I'm definitely interested in trying it out.
gunboat Posted August 23, 2009 #4 Posted August 23, 2009 i think just about any tire store. discount tire, tire rack, any local tire shop? i have a bfg on my bike right now with 30,000 miles on it. may have to change it before long, trying to get another 10,000. but the center is starting to get a little thin but the egdes still look like new. best reguards don c.
