Currently working on the TCI, wondering what the transistor specs are since the markings are gone. Appreciate any help.

I think THIS is a bit more what they should look like... not sure of the manufacturer but print it up and take it down to an electronic component store??? ETD41-035 This is an umodified TCI... like yours, those grey (balloon) diodes need to come out and be replaced with 1N4007 type for durability.

Are these things potted in epoxy? How did you guys get the epoxy out to where you can access the circuitry like this without damaging things?

Mine is shown EXACTLY how it came out.

 

The only "potted" component I have run into was the pressure sensor and it's full of some gummy compound that picks out "fairly" easy.

Also, do Google Search, " NTE2317 " This one apparently is still available, If sombody can find Spec sheet for this one, and the ETD41035, and do a detailed comparison. ?????

Now THAT'S what I like to see, a few guys checking around and we end up with replacement parts for our old beasts. Thanks guys! I'm certainly noting the cross reference. I wonder if there's a repair center for the Yamaha Vision TCI that would work on OUR TCI units!
