mini-muffin Posted August 16, 2009 #2 Posted August 16, 2009 Doesn't TX need some rain? Of course right behind Ana is Bill. That one is looking a bit more interesting. Not sure where that one's gonna head just yet. Of course Claudette is on her way in now. Looks like the hurricane season is heating up. Margaret
Thom Posted August 16, 2009 Author #3 Posted August 16, 2009 ya but not the week end i finely get off and i want to pick on Wildhair ! it looks like Bill will be knocking on your door Mini . Thom
Jerry W Posted August 16, 2009 #4 Posted August 16, 2009 Man, that ain't right. Think I will watch the weather a little longer before I pack the bike and make reservations for the trip to Wildhairs.
Kregerdoodle Posted August 16, 2009 #5 Posted August 16, 2009 Bummer!!! But I`m not going to panic untill Thursday PM.... that is going to s#@! Big Time if it comes in here....
mini-muffin Posted August 17, 2009 #6 Posted August 17, 2009 Hopefully Ana won't ruin the weekend for you all. I'm hoping Bill heads way out to sea. Which they say is a possibility. Otherwise that's gonna be a nasty one. Has way too much time to get bigger. Margaret
gunboat Posted August 17, 2009 #7 Posted August 17, 2009 yes we need the rain. but i'am not scared been thru two super typhoons in the south pacific. 1 over 175 mph, the other 200 mph. rain felt like getting shot with rock salt when we "brrowed" watermelons as a kid. best reguards don c.
