mashley Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 I had to let you guys see this. This is me and my dad. As we were leaving Home Depot the other day a man on an Ultra Classic stop me and asked, "What......you guys couldn't get ladder racks with those bikes?" I just smiled and rode off. I figured afterward I would take a pic and let you guys see.
Snaggletooth Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 You did a good job of tieing down your load. Now this guy..........he needed a ladder rack!
mini-muffin Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 Hey looks good to me. As long as the stuff's tied down what's the problem? Guess that guy just never went shopping to pick up a few things on his bike. Margaret
BEER30 Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 Years ago living in Alaska , my cousin and I rode my Yamaha 360 RD with a set of skis strapped on each side of the bike . With our ski boots tethered together slung over the tank . We had a back pack and it was full . Guess what we had in it ? ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ BEER ...........................I mean anti-freeze ! Rottdoglover Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 The fella poking fun at you with the 'rack' remark is probably one of those guys that can't figure how to empty a bucket if you told him the instructions were on the bottom. If you can tie, strap, bungee, or balance it on a bike -HAUL IT! As for the GW ladder, the only thing I see wrong is I think it's OVERWIDTH.
