mashley Posted August 16, 2009 #1 Posted August 16, 2009 I had to let you guys see this. This is me and my dad. As we were leaving Home Depot the other day a man on an Ultra Classic stop me and asked, "What......you guys couldn't get ladder racks with those bikes?" I just smiled and rode off. I figured afterward I would take a pic and let you guys see.
Snaggletooth Posted August 16, 2009 #2 Posted August 16, 2009 You did a good job of tieing down your load. Now this guy..........he needed a ladder rack!
mini-muffin Posted August 16, 2009 #3 Posted August 16, 2009 Hey looks good to me. As long as the stuff's tied down what's the problem? Guess that guy just never went shopping to pick up a few things on his bike. Margaret
BEER30 Posted August 16, 2009 #4 Posted August 16, 2009 Years ago living in Alaska , my cousin and I rode my Yamaha 360 RD with a set of skis strapped on each side of the bike . With our ski boots tethered together slung over the tank . We had a back pack and it was full . Guess what we had in it ? ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ BEER ...........................I mean anti-freeze ! Rottdoglover Posted August 17, 2009 #5 Posted August 17, 2009 The fella poking fun at you with the 'rack' remark is probably one of those guys that can't figure how to empty a bucket if you told him the instructions were on the bottom. If you can tie, strap, bungee, or balance it on a bike -HAUL IT! As for the GW ladder, the only thing I see wrong is I think it's OVERWIDTH.
