dogman Posted August 16, 2009 #1 Posted August 16, 2009 Hello All, Summer has finally arrived in Ontario. Great riding weather now. I went for a ride with Relic and his wife Dianne yesterday to Meninite country and you couldn't have asked for better weather or friends. I'm off to Espanola in an hour on my bike and returning on Tuesday. Then the Europe trip on Friday without the bike, I'll be back packing with my wife and one of my sons for the first week and a bit, then finishing with a weeks cruise of the Mediterainian I'll miss out on the Meet and Farewell for Brad and Lonna on Aug 22nd along with countless other things that will be happening on the Venture site. I wish everyone an excellent end of the summer filled with activities and great weather. I look forward to getting back on the site in September and catching up with what everyone has been doing. Dave

Guest BluesLover Posted August 17, 2009 #6 Posted August 17, 2009 Have a great trip Dave! We just got back from a 3000 km loop to Thunder Bay and back. Stayed in Espanola (Pioneer Inn) one night, Marathon the next, then White River and Sudbury on the way back. Managed to experience three of the seasons within a 5 day period and even saw a snowplow on the highway along the way (but in all honesty, it was just being driven back from Thunder Bay after having some work done). Cheers, Lou

When we started out we didn't even plan on going through Sudbury, but one of the guys didn't have his passport so we couldn't cut down at the Sault. So, even the worst laid plans of mice and men often DO go awry . Guess we'll just have to make another trip up there! Btw, I don't ride a Yammie no more either Cheers, Lou
