Need new exhaust system

Right hand side exhaust on my '99 RSV finally rusted through. I ride year-round in New England. I see that new OEM exhaust pipes are around $250 each side but the mufflers are around $800+!!! I want nice and quiet exhaust.

I see lots of posts about after market slip-ons and HD exhaust. Any suggestions for moderately priced exhaust system?

Anyone have 2nd Gen exhaust for sale?

believe it or not but the Road King muffs are really quiet as a stock muffler - you can usually get a set for $50 or so

Are you needing the entire exhaust system or just the mufflers?

the factory mufflers from my 2003 rsv have zero miles on them, as i took them off the day i took the bike out of the crate from yamaha {yes i put it together myself}

 

they are in a box and ready to ship, make me an offer that makes it worth going to the post office and they are yours. mike
