Cinderella Posted August 7, 2009 #1 Posted August 7, 2009 we rolled in about 1/2 hr ago.........i am totally exhausted..... but its a good exhausted. more later and of course pics..and a little video of someone who couldnt stay awake the last two nights.... prize winners I will get with you as soon as i get settled in at home again........ we had an awesome time, but.....i didnt get to ride enough... it was sad to see it end and everyone leaving......

You shouldn't have gone shopping, that way you could have spent more time ridin.

Also loves to lay by your feet. And yes she needs a lot of combing too.

Dano Posted August 8, 2009 #13 Posted August 8, 2009 Got home at 10 tonite, 520 miles, 4 stops (one for dinner), avg 35 mpg pulling a loaded trailer (wasn't taking it easy, either). We had the greatest time this week, will post some pics later. I believe I miss those roads already!

I know every step you went through as it was the same way in Colorado in '07. I have said it before and I will again, you did a fantastic job as well as all the committee members in making this rally happen. You all should be very proud on a job well done, but you especially with all you were going through at the time. Great job Kiddo....thanks for the memories

Good thing too or I'd have been driving thru an all day rain here in Michigan today. Started late last night and hasn't let up since. Nice to be back in cooler weather thou. Larry

So we all would have been in some heavy storms if we hadn't left on Thursday. Good call!! Hopefully the weather will cooperate with us for tomorrow. My brother in law gave us a car to drive while we are here for the wedding, so we don't have to drive the bike on the wet roads (now that it has quit momentarily). Tell Joyce hi and we were so fortunate and happy to ride to MI with you. We enjoyed meeting everyone at the Rally and look forward to more of them. Pat and Don

RandyR Posted August 9, 2009 #18 Posted August 9, 2009 Got home to Dahlonega, GA about 6:30pm friday. btw, there's a couple pictures of the venturerider mascot in the pie throwing thread. That dog is real sweetheart, but with long hair, needs to learn to stay out of the weeds.
KarlS Posted August 9, 2009 #19 Posted August 9, 2009 With everything we did on the trip all my Daughter will talk about is those two dogs. Caught the girls and the dogs in my room twice. "Dad we had the door shut. Don't know how they got in." Those are two tricky dogs.
