BoomerCPO Posted August 7, 2009 #2 Posted August 7, 2009 The Lord takes care of drunks and fools............. Boomer........who has been both many times in his....ahem....younger days.
Marcarl Posted August 7, 2009 #3 Posted August 7, 2009 Somehow I don't think the deer gets enough credit throuh the whole story. It's only mentioned once, but somehow I think it deserves more credit than that. So lets see, bikers hits the back of an open pickup at the difference in speed of 10mph, and is catipulted into the bed of the pickup. nice job.
saddlebum Posted August 7, 2009 #4 Posted August 7, 2009 Was it Quick thinking or just shear good luck that when he got tossed he ran into the back of an open pickup instead of a semi
SaltyDawg Posted August 7, 2009 #5 Posted August 7, 2009 I'm not even sure what part the deer played in this episode. Sounds to me like a drunk who couldn't determine distance ran into the back of a pickup truck. I highly doubt he just "Jumped" into the back of the truck. Looks like he was ejected and luckily landed in the back of the truck.

Except I think he was going faster than 80, I doubt 10mph difference is enough to throw him over the bars and into the bed of the truck. I wonder if there even was a deer.
