GG54172 Posted August 7, 2009 #1 Posted August 7, 2009 My stock windshield was starting to get a bit hazy. It was high enough that if the sunlight or bright headlights hit the shield i couldn't see anything. So I cut the bottom 1.75" off of the screen with a cutoff wheel and redrilled the holes. Now the top of the screen is right at the 2 second following distance when I am sitting comfortably and riding at 65mph. The wind blast is about 1/2 inch above my helmet. At 75mph the windblast is just touching the top of my helmet with no extra noise. For now I like it, I will report back in about 3 weeks. Pictures available Saturday.
