Condor Posted September 18, 2007 #1 Posted September 18, 2007 http://www.crashedtoys.com/Item.asp?StockNumber=CT07-535& If not someone might want to think seriously about it. Looks like an easy fix??
WilCruise Posted September 18, 2007 #2 Posted September 18, 2007 It always LOOKS like an easy fix, might be expensive though. If it goes around that price it's at now it'd still be a heck of a deal though! If I weren't broke I'd go for it!
sarges46 Posted September 18, 2007 #3 Posted September 18, 2007 It looks only slightly worse than my bike after my dump. Cant believe they wrote that off! Mine is 3600 bucks to replace everything. Good deal there me thinks.
KiteSquid Posted September 18, 2007 #4 Posted September 18, 2007 REMEMBER it comes with a salvage title...... that will hurt resale, but if you plan on riding it for a long time, the point is moot.
BradT Posted September 18, 2007 #5 Posted September 18, 2007 So I will ask. Do any of you think the Canadians could License this on our Side ? Where is Mr. Wise Owl, figure he would know. ? Brad
Guest ReinyRooster Posted September 19, 2007 #6 Posted September 19, 2007 Did you notice that in the bidding history, "Cloudy" has bid against himself twice? Padding the bidding?
Gambler Posted September 19, 2007 #7 Posted September 19, 2007 I have been watching that one until yesterday, when I checked on importing into Ontario, I understand that govt made a change mid July/07 that anything branded as salvage ,you will not be able to licence in Ontario. Please check before u bid Gambler

Condor Posted September 20, 2007 Author #10 Posted September 20, 2007 Did you notice that in the bidding history, "Cloudy" has bid against himself twice? Padding the bidding? I think what happens is that someone bid over his high bid and the system automatically outbid them, and it's recorded as another bid by the high bidder.
KiteSquid Posted September 20, 2007 #11 Posted September 20, 2007 ebay works the same way. in proxy bidding, i just bid my highest at first, and if I loose, oh well.....
Yammer Dan Posted September 20, 2007 #12 Posted September 20, 2007 Warden told me to go for it. Wish that woman would keep her mouth shut!! Now I'm thinking again. And thats dangerous!!
Condor Posted September 20, 2007 Author #13 Posted September 20, 2007 Go get it Dan..........!!! I understand it comes with milk and cookies.....

Looks like an easy fix??If it's an easy fix, and your thinking of trying on a second gen., I'd think about putting in a bid Jack.................good luck if you do.
RandyCH Posted September 20, 2007 #15 Posted September 20, 2007 Yeah, very tempting and not too far from me,about 250 miles.Anyone know how much $$$this would take to fix up?Ballpark? Winter's coming, lots of wrench time available soon!!!
SNOW700R Posted September 20, 2007 #16 Posted September 20, 2007 You guys must be new to Crashed toys. Watch that bike in the last hour, you could probably go 3 miles away to Century Power & buy a new one with warranty for the same price. I'm 6 miles from their location, have gone over & looked many bikes & sleds, just to see the price go nuts in the last few minutes. But,I'm am watching again!!!!
Condor Posted September 20, 2007 Author #17 Posted September 20, 2007 If it's an easy fix, and your thinking of trying on a second gen., I'd think about putting in a bid Jack.................good luck if you do. No bids here. To many bikes in the stable now. Beside being a little to far to get it hame...and I'm broke....
Rich99 Posted September 20, 2007 #18 Posted September 20, 2007 No bids here. To many bikes in the stable now. Beside being a little to far to get it hame...and I'm broke....You could sell all your first gens., pay cash and have money left over; then you could brag about going over to the dark side of the great 2nd gens., but ah....:crying:I guess you'd make alot of enemies.
Condor Posted September 20, 2007 Author #19 Posted September 20, 2007 You could sell all your first gens., pay cash and have money left over; then you could brag about going over to the dark side of the great 2nd gens., but ah....:crying:I guess you'd make alot of enemies. I'll go to the dark side only when they pry the 1stGens from my cold dead hands...... Besides, I'm on a not-so-successful diet..... and don't need cookies and milk.....:rotf:
Yammer Dan Posted September 20, 2007 #20 Posted September 20, 2007 THINKING........THINKING............THINKING............. Leave the 1st Gens??? THINKING...... Where did the milk and cookies come from. Another Plus.......
