PastorPaul Posted August 1, 2009 #26 Posted August 1, 2009 A tooth brush works fine with a good tasting tooth paste. Use a tooth pick to get the hard to get pieces out from between. on the bike I us dawn and let it soak for 3 or 4 min. works fine and then use the dryer cloths on the hard to remove stuff
BoomerCPO Posted August 1, 2009 #27 Posted August 1, 2009 A tooth brush works fine with a good tasting tooth paste. Use a tooth pick to get the hard to get pieces out from between. I used to do that after every ride before I got my Venture with the windshield. Boomer.....who enjoys seeing the bugs splatter on the shield instead of feeling em hit his teeth......

Jethroish Posted August 1, 2009 #31 Posted August 1, 2009 To clean stubborn bugs from chrome I use a damp dryer softener sheet. Don't use it on painted surfaces because it may be a bit too abrasive. I use it on the truck and bike chrome though. I do this all the time. I use the sheets that have already been through the dryer. No problems on paint.
