bongobobny Posted July 30, 2009 #11 Posted July 30, 2009 Hi Taz! Sorry about the loss of ytour friend. I guess we need to be grateful for the friends we make because of the opportunity we had to meet them in the first place. Consider it a blessing to have had the time together to enjoy the friendship. We will pray for you, and his family.
Freebird Posted July 30, 2009 #12 Posted July 30, 2009 Don't know what else I can add but am really sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. It should be a reminder to all of us to live each day to the fullest. It sounds like he was doing that.

Dragonslayer Posted July 30, 2009 #17 Posted July 30, 2009 Sorry for your loss of a true friend, I wrote the following in memory of my Dad. I offer it to you and your friends family in memery of him. Carpe Diem Seize the day is what he’d say, For tomorrow is never sure. We never know if we‘ll pass this way, Or If I can hold your hand once more. My life has been blessed and was rich indeed, With friends and loves and family. My heart has been full for sure. Life’s sweet music has filled my ears, A song of bliss so pure. When my time has ended, And I go to meet my Lord, No floods of tears should you shed, For my struggles will be no more. Each song I sang along the way Was meant to share my soul. I tried to sing them lovingly, So lovingly to you. Charles R. Graham In memory of my beloved Father and friend Don't know what else I can add but am really sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. It should be a reminder to all of us to live each day to the fullest. It sounds like he was doing that.
Sylvester Posted July 30, 2009 #18 Posted July 30, 2009 I have left too many good riding friends behind. Sometimes I will be riding solo and in that peaceful state...then I will hear one of my departed friends give me encouragement or words of wisdom. It is then that I know I am one with the world. As close to nature as I can get! Life on the mini farm.
Iowawegian Posted July 30, 2009 #19 Posted July 30, 2009 Just to let you know your in our thoughts and prayers
tazmocycle Posted July 30, 2009 Author #20 Posted July 30, 2009 hear today that his viewing will be on sunday, and he will be interned at the new national cementry here in montevallo at american village. it just opened up about a month ago, and i think he will be about number 4 interned there. he served in the army during vietnam, glad he will have a great place to rest. american village is a nonprofit teaching area with many building of early colonial days and up. they do tours for schools and have a big event for 4th of july, even a guy dressed up like George Washington on a white horse. the school kids have a great time visiting it and so does most people that loves early USA history. thanks for all the thoughts and prayers, they are a comfort in this time of sorrow.
Marcarl Posted July 30, 2009 #22 Posted July 30, 2009 It's always hard to loose a friend,,,, but then if they weren't hard to loose, I guess they wouldn't have been too much of a friend. You have my sympathy. Don't let this get you down, he went in a wonderful way, ful of life one moment, and then,,,,gone,, for him it was just awesome.
