silverdeer0454 Posted July 29, 2009 #1 Posted July 29, 2009 Wondering if anyone else has tried this product or if it's a waste of $$. Not sure if picture of it will come up so I added the link at the bottom. Hydro Cushion $19.90 A unique cushion that combines air and water for ultimate comfort! • Cushion fills with air and water - never flattens like foam cushions • Relieves pressure and stress from the tailbone • Cushion can be drained/deflated for flat storage • Includes free plastic carry case Experience the comfort of an innovative cushion that supports you with both air and water with the Hydro Cushion. If you sit for long periods of time – in the car, at the office, on an airplane or bus or a wheelchair – then you know the discomfort it can cause. Relieve that discomfort with this unique cushion. Simply take the PVC insert, fill the water chamber with water and the air chamber with air, and then put it in the zippered, padded foam casing. The cushion will absorb shocks and redistribute your weight. The shape of your cushion was designed to alleviate pressure and stress to the tailbone for maximum comfort and support. When you’re done with the cushion it can be conveniently drained, deflated and stored in an included plastic carry case. silverdeer0454 Posted July 29, 2009 Author #5 Posted July 29, 2009 The Butler mod would be the best option, but he would need to travel to the Great Pacific Northwest to do the mod.
Uturn Posted July 29, 2009 #6 Posted July 29, 2009 The Butler mod would be the best option, but he would need to travel to the Great Pacific Northwest to do the mod. I used UPS...saved Rick time and gas...works everytime. MIKE aka Uturn
silverdeer0454 Posted July 29, 2009 Author #7 Posted July 29, 2009 Considered that as well, but until winter gets here it may just require the temporary fix. Besides I think if I send it now I'll have to ride on the frame and battery and the upcoming vacation trip might be uncomfortable!
Aussie Annie Posted July 30, 2009 #8 Posted July 30, 2009 What happens if you spring a leak in the cushion ?? Do you go out with the tide?:rotf:
silverdeer0454 Posted July 30, 2009 Author #9 Posted July 30, 2009 Good point Annie! But I ordered one anyways. I'll do a report on it after I have had the chance to use it for a bit. Of course at my age if it springs a leak people will just think "Poor old man, he peed himself" :rotfl:
