Guest HdHtr Posted July 28, 2009 #6 Posted July 28, 2009 Donuts ... you know my affinity for donuts ... and coffee. Now where is that passport of mine ... I'd be there for donuts and coffee if I could!!
frogmaster Posted July 28, 2009 #7 Posted July 28, 2009 Been there in 2003 back when we had tents with no HEAT or AC. I help setup the internet for K-Har back in the day. I'm sure it is better now (slightly) . Enjoying my last few months of riding before heading to "Other Sanbox". Hope it is all I said it was back at MD-2009. Good luck
mini-muffin Posted July 28, 2009 #8 Posted July 28, 2009 Dang some folks will do anything to get donuts. Margaret
Dano Posted July 28, 2009 #9 Posted July 28, 2009 I just wanna hear how he tweaks up a camel to go faster!!! (BTW- we need some camel smilies!)

I don't know, if they still drive the armoured vehicles into the drive thru (I have heard of that, a few years ago)...... But do try the icecap, you will probably like it.
MikeC Posted July 28, 2009 #15 Posted July 28, 2009 I was able to go on a camel patrol in the Sahara desert with some bedouins many years ago. These aren't your Bush Gardens variety camels. They're nasty, they're mean, and they spit green! And they don't take kindly to Americans on their humps! lol
painterman67 Posted July 28, 2009 #16 Posted July 28, 2009 He'll probably do a hump tune instead of a carb tune. :rotf: Margaret and probably nedd to get the camel naked to put on a set of hump-wires David.

Blackjack Posted July 29, 2009 #24 Posted July 29, 2009 Hey, Jeff! When I found out you were in Kandahar I used Google Earth to zoom in and show me the sites. I did see the picture of Tim Horton's and wondered if you might not make your way there. That's too funny! Well, my friend, have a doughnut for me and we'll all keep thinking the good thoughts for ya'! http://www.panoramio.com/photo/13050739 BTW: your SSP is fine and dandy, and really enjoying having it's place inside for awhile... TERRY
