Thanks Margaret, yeah, we had a great time. The bike isn't bad off, just some cosmetic stuff. The big problem was when I thought the windshield was trashed. But even if it was Venturerider assistance would have got me one to get home. One of these days we'll get to ride down your way as we haven't been that way yet.

I like to go to Gatlinburg a lot. Normally stay at the hampton at the south end of town, but was wondering where the cabins are---they look great!

The cabins are east of town up Dudley Creek Dr. We stayed at a place called Gatlinburg Falls. Info here www.cabinsofthesmokymountains.com/index.php . Very nice and various sizes.

The cabins in that area around Pigeon Forge are a great deal. Cooking your own meals vs eating out and staying in a motel is the way to go. Were going next weekend plus we got three nights for the price of two.
