juggler Posted July 26, 2009 #1 Posted July 26, 2009 We did another day trip today. 310 miles to the Jeffers Petroglyphs Historic Site in Southwest MN. This is a place where Indians carved stuff into the bedrock. It's kind of hard to see the carvings, but some were clearly visible. Google Map of our route. Place: Jeffers Petroglyphs Historic Site Address: 27160 County Road 2, Comfrey MN 56019 Cost: $6 adults 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Phone: 507-628-5591 Website: www.mnhs.org/jefferspetroglyphs Supper: George's Fine Steaks & Spirits (Order the prime rib!) 301 N Minnesota St New Ulm, MN 56073 (507) 354-7440
Black Owl Posted July 26, 2009 #2 Posted July 26, 2009 Nice to see someone is getting some riding done... So, how was the mileage? Any significant improvement?

Black Owl Posted July 26, 2009 #4 Posted July 26, 2009 Bummer. If they don't improve, I know a fellow that may be willing to rebuild them for you. He charges $30.00/h.
krispy Posted July 27, 2009 #5 Posted July 27, 2009 Juggler, You were within 20 miles of us on this run, and we had supper in New Ulm on Sat night too. Of course we ate at Mac D's on the go, and actually ate at the Schell's Brewery Park, where we got the picture for the Scavenger hunt. Haven't got time to download the pictures and get it posted. Next time you head this way, give us a shout. Maybe we can hook up. Larry
