I have an 04 RSV- Midnight - and thought a tool bag might look good on the front as well as give me some additional storage.

I realize the bag must be the right size to span the forks as well as not hit anything when the shocks are compressed.

Anyone have any recommendations on a front tool pouch/bag?

Anyone installed a tool bag on theri RSV?

Appreciate your input!

I had one on the front of my '99 that worked out well, name of it escapes me. I think that HALRSV99 ended up with it and put it on his '99 after mine was totalled. I dont have a pic of it, but perhaps Hal does and we can get it posted up.

Just be REALLY careful. I see in your post that you are aware of the possibility but I've seen several front fenders dented because of it. They front forks can sometimes compress a lot more than people realize.

The previous owner of my '05 Midnight had a fork/tool bag mounted and it rubbed the paint on the front fender. The scuff was really noticable before the dealer buffed most of it out for me.

Just my opinion but I would never mount anything that could rub the fender again. There are plenty of other places to carry tools on the bike.
