Moparlvr4406 Posted July 24, 2009 #1 Posted July 24, 2009 I was brainstorming last summer (scary as that may be) and my buddy who owns a metal fab shop and I built these hiway peg/pad extenders I am 6'6" and these do the job well on my 1st gen and sit plenty high enough not to interfere in turns Not bad for hillbilly home made

Brian Actually I mounted a set of Kuryakyn highways on the front vertical that gives me about the same room. On long runs I can also rest the back of the achilles on the peg. Anyway it gives me all kinds of options for leg positioning. Keeps the ol' knees from acting up...
