it has been about 20 years since i had my crotch rocket & a month ago we got a 2004 RSV. i can't believe how rusty i am at riding & how much different the RSV is over a crotch rocket. anyway, i have been getting pretty good at getting around on the RSV without bouts of Oh crap being uttered through my helmet. i would like to get opinions on the Ride like a pro video before i decide to spend next year's venture dues on a DVD. i am sorry, but i did not want to look through 500 or so pages to see if this has been discussed. if so, does someone know where the thread is & it cruise over there. other wise, comments are welcome.

Thanks, Dale in Louisiana :puzzled:

You should find the "Search" function useful. This allows you to find content without look through 500 pages. Search is located as a drop-down menu 3 items from the right side, close to "Log Out". Folks here commonly shorten "Ride Like A Pro" to RLAP, to aid in your searches.

You might review [ame=http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=24973]this thread[/ame], where we are passing around loaner DVDs. Among other things, people share their impressions.

I took the RLAP class, and bought the DVD. I think the material on the DVD is useful, but it is not nearly as useful as taking the class. I don't know where you live in Louisiana, but there is a class in Houston.

Good deal, i will search. I am in Kinder, La which is NW of Lake Charles by 32 miles. Most folks around here know Coushatta Casino Resort. well that's Kinder. The HD shop in LC i understand gives a good course, but they get near 300.oo bucks. the RLAP runs about 35.oo bucks. there is a small chuch parking lot locally where i do figure 8 practice so i was thinking maybe the DVD would do me good enough.

thanks.
