BuckShot Posted July 21, 2009 #1 Posted July 21, 2009 Just wondered how your 75 mph test run went with the trailer. Took my bike and trailer to wally world tonight---50 lb bag of dog food and some other stuff came home. Don't care if I look foolish, at least I got in an hour ride doing errands.
Snarley Bill Posted July 21, 2009 #2 Posted July 21, 2009 i did'nt do the test run at highway speed. haven't got the wireloom for my bikes for the trailer lights. so i have no brake lights and turnsignals. it takes a 5 wire to 4 wire converter. figured i will wait till it is legal before i hit the highway. don't see any problems. it was fine at 55 mph.
RoadKill Posted July 21, 2009 #3 Posted July 21, 2009 You can get the 5 to 4 converter at an autoparts or farm store. I got mine at a tractor supply.
Bloodbought1 Posted July 21, 2009 #4 Posted July 21, 2009 What is the number and brand of the converter? TIA
RoadKill Posted July 21, 2009 #5 Posted July 21, 2009 I have seen different brands, but I think Hoppy is what I ended up with.
