Snarley Bill Posted July 20, 2009 Share #1 Posted July 20, 2009 went looking for a new 1700 nomad this morning. stopped at a very big motorsport dealer and asked if they had one. the lady said no but we can get you one. i said are you going to get one in. she said probably not. can not believe this. i told her i would at least like to see, and sit on one. they must have had at least 100 new bikes on display, like 2 of each. sounds like the no stock venture deal all over again. guess i will have to wait for the new ones to hit ebay. i think i want one, but would like to see how big and heavy it feels. the waiting game is on. So, is this an addition to the stable or a replacement? If replacement, which one is going to be put out to pasture? Inquiring minds want to know! You answered your own question. They have 100 bikes that arent selling. Why tie up 15 grand in more inventory that wont sell either? She just needs to know there is a chance it will move quick. Otherwise, why bother?

whozleft Posted July 22, 2009 Share #5 Posted July 22, 2009 I had an 05 Nomad and loved it. I traded it in for my Venture because my wife, I and my trailer were just a little much for the Nomad. I have thought about going back to a Nomad at soem point myself. They don't feel near as heavuy as a Venture, are great running bikes and have pretty super handling I think. Besides that, they are a great looking bike for the money.
