silverdeer0454 Posted July 20, 2009 #1 Posted July 20, 2009 I really thought that our part of Washington state was pretty good about motorcycles and their drivers. But here is a story where someone riding a bicycle decided to throw his bike into the path of a guy (semi-famous actor) riding a motorcycle. I guess the gene pool is sometimes pretty shallow. http://www.kirotv.com/news/20089924/detail.html
mini-muffin Posted July 20, 2009 #3 Posted July 20, 2009 The trooper said mental issues may have been involved. Ya think. No normal person would do that. Seems there's nuts out there all over. Margaret
bongobobny Posted July 20, 2009 #4 Posted July 20, 2009 I clicked on the slideshow, and then clicked on the "What's Wrong With This Picture" slideshow. Well worth the time to view!

ridgway1 Posted July 20, 2009 #7 Posted July 20, 2009 Hey Bob,I think the brick wall all blown out with the KOOL-AID guy picturwe was the best. You gotta have a sense of humor sometimes. Chris
davecb Posted July 21, 2009 #8 Posted July 21, 2009 I think the guy was PO'd cause he couldn't afford a motorcycle.....
Mariner Fan Posted July 21, 2009 #9 Posted July 21, 2009 "The trooper says he doesn't know why the actor was in the Leavenworth area..." So if you're a well-known Washington native, and you take a summer road trip to eastern Washington, on your bike, you need to have a reason to be there? Heck, sounds like a perfect ride over to Leavenworth and have some German food.
GeorgeS Posted July 21, 2009 #10 Posted July 21, 2009 Well, that area is a very popular area for Seattle folks to visit on weekends, and very populular area for bycle rideing. Tranquil, Scinic, lakeside, etc etc, Its basicly a " tourist town " and not much else. ( resturants, and junk shops ) I'm thinking the guy might have been a EVW, and was upset with loud Harley mufflers, passing him a more the 15 MPH. In downtown Seattle, bikeing is very popular, and if you don't give them the right of way when driveing your " CAGE " they are know to kick dents in your car doors as they peddle bye.

04Midnight Posted July 21, 2009 #12 Posted July 21, 2009 Maybe the guy had loud mufflers on his motocycle and the guy with the mental problem got startled and acted out of fear. You know, survival instinct triggered by aggression from a perceived threat.
