My Dad likes making the Dr wrong. Here is a brief history. Two years ago he was diagnosed with multiple myaloma. He said I don't feel sick. One year ago the myaloma stopped his kidneys so dialysis was started. Last Wed he stopped breathing during the dialysis and his heart stopped. They shocked him back and rushed him to the ER. The Dr gave little hope of any recovery and if he did get better most likely brain damage. Well he stabilized in one day and they said he could not breath on his own, next day he was off the ventilator. The next day they brought him back from the induced coma and said don't expect him to be cognizant, he communicated by shaking his head and blinking (still had tube down his throat). Moved him to a bigger hospital yesterday and pulled the tubes and he ate dinner and is doing great. He likes making the Dr be wrong. There is no cure for his illness but we still have him for now. Thanks for the prayers. Rod

Glad to hear he is improving! You gotta watch those Doctors.

Several years back, my Grandmother was in the hospital, and they said she didn't have much time left, so we should see her before she goes. I drive up there (Owensboro, Ky), and when I see her, she doesn't even recognize me, she is in such bad shape. I talked to the Doctor, and he gave me one story, while the Nurse gave me a completely different story. I was very suspicious of the things they were telling me, so I called in the Ky State Police to investigate. Guess what? She miraculously recovered and went home 2 days later. She lived another 10 years after that. Turns out, they were drugging her to keep her in the hospital, and milk her Medicare for all they could get. I don't trust Doctors for squat.

Glad to see he has a fighting spirit!

My Dad had multiple myaloma. We think it was due to him being exposed to benzine or some other chemicals where he worked. Several people had the same kind of cancer in the same work area. He was 54 when the diesease claimed his life. This was 24 years ago and treatments have come such a long way since then. Only now am I realizing how young he was. I just turned 54. We will remember you and your family in our prayers.
