Sylvester Posted July 16, 2009 Share #1 Posted July 16, 2009 I received my Carbon One adapter w/legs ysterday. Today I installed the upper unit (fit perfectly), lifted the bike on my Sears ATV/MC lift and performed the Freebird recipe for tightening up the steering bearings. I now have tighter steering and all is well with the world.

Skid Posted July 17, 2009 Share #3 Posted July 17, 2009 I just got mine Carbon One Lift Adapter with the legs today and tried it out. Very well made and looks like top quality workmanship. Although it was very scary the first time lifting the bike off the ground but I'll get more use to it later on. I haven't tried the legs yet... Thank you Larry...... Tombo Posted July 17, 2009 Share #4 Posted July 17, 2009 My '07 spent the winter up on the stand in the front of the garage. It was very easy to move around and secure. A great accessory and worth the investment.

Skid Posted July 17, 2009 Share #6 Posted July 17, 2009 OK today I tried my new Lift Adapter with the legs and I was quite nervous, but everything went well. I got the oil changed and it worked well.
craigatcsi Posted July 17, 2009 Share #7 Posted July 17, 2009 I see you used a wood block - good idea. I didn't think of that. Probably easier to get the Jack under it, mine is awful close when on the lean. craigr
Sylvester Posted July 18, 2009 Author Share #8 Posted July 18, 2009 I have a Wheel Dock and it keeps my bike verticle whenever in the garage (easy to lift that way). It transfers to my trailer if I need to transport the bike.
