Orrin Posted September 16, 2007 #1 Posted September 16, 2007 Just got done changing spark plugs and engine coolan. Thanks to those who have posted service manual and have taken the time to put simple directions on how to: Thank you. You guys have saved me a lot of money. Now I can get a Carbtune and sync my own carbs. After looking at the carbtune site, what accsessories did you order with your carbtune, if any. If anyone wants to use it after I get it and they live in my area, I will be glad to help them and let them use it. Thanks again for all of the postings and good advice.
Guest Nubby Posted September 16, 2007 #2 Posted September 16, 2007 Thats great, nothing like the feeling of a job well done!
muffinman Posted September 16, 2007 #3 Posted September 16, 2007 Hey Orin how about riding down and doing the same to my bikes.LOL Jeff
Sgtglenn Posted September 16, 2007 #4 Posted September 16, 2007 Do not need any accessories with the carbtune other than a long screwdriver that you can get anywhere.
Guest Vermincelli Posted September 16, 2007 #5 Posted September 16, 2007 Amen Orrin. I couldn't have rebuilt mine without the folks here and all the info available. I only wish I could find half as much for my FJ1200 that I did here.
Guest Mortch Posted September 16, 2007 #6 Posted September 16, 2007 Orrin, Buy the Bag to keep everything together. It is a very nice Bag. Just received my Carbtune a couple of weeks ago and have used it twice all ready. Very Easy to use. And it Took about 9 days to arrive in Washington State. Have fun!
Guest Mortch Posted September 16, 2007 #7 Posted September 16, 2007 Orrin, Just another thought. Check out this site www.speedbleeder.com. I just installed mine today and bled the brakes. Another easy work smart not hard upgrade. I have a 1st generation 86 so your size may be different. Check the web site.
Orrin Posted September 16, 2007 Author #8 Posted September 16, 2007 Mortch, Thanks for the idea on a speed bleeder. I think I will order some.

RedRider Posted September 17, 2007 #10 Posted September 17, 2007 Just ordered the carbtune pro. Anybody in the area, bring the beer and I will have the carbtune:) Cool - I just had mine checked at VIP, but will keep you in mind for next year. Any particular flavor of beer you prefer? RR
eagleeye Posted September 17, 2007 #11 Posted September 17, 2007 Hey Orrin, Thanks for the offer, I'll look forward to using it. Maybe RR can bring enough beer for old EagleEye too. It was really geat meeting you yesterday, but I have to say that my 86VR looked like a piece of crap next to your RSTD. Man, that thing is beautiful!!! Steve
