YankeeMike Posted July 14, 2009 #1 Posted July 14, 2009 I have a concern about the rear wheel on my Venture. I had her in for some work recently and while it was up on the rack, I noticed that it appears that, from looking from the rear of the bike, it looks like the rear wheel is mounted closer to the right side of the bike than right in the middle. In other words, it doesn't appear to be centered in the fender. Anyone ever seen this and what could be the problem (if there IS a problem.) I'm kinda wondering that when I had her in for new tires, did they do something wrong, leave something out, etc. Any Idears???
1sttenor Posted July 14, 2009 #2 Posted July 14, 2009 Mine appears that way as well. I really never noticed it until I put on the hitch. I've asked other riders to watch from behind and they tell me the bike looks to ride straight. I assume its the nature of the beast, unless someone on here as had a different experience!
Venturous Randy Posted July 14, 2009 #3 Posted July 14, 2009 Maybe the fender is off centered. I think most of these bikes are like that, I know my 83 is. RandyA
