Bigfoot Posted July 11, 2009 #1 Posted July 11, 2009 Or for anyone in the know. The wife and I will be in Bar Harbor on Sunday 8/16. Our goal is to get on the ferry in Bar Harbor and head to Nova Scotia the next day. Anyone know if I need to buy tickets ahead of time or just wait and buy them there? We will be on the RSV. Any other advice for that area regarding the ferry would also be welcomed.
KarlS Posted July 11, 2009 #2 Posted July 11, 2009 http://www.catferry.com/route-schedule/ Here is their web site. They leave Bar Harbor on Mon. Tues. and Wed. only. I'm not from Maine but looked it up before when planning a possable trip. Hope it helps. Also says advance booking highly recomended. Or for anyone in the know. The day I went; the back deck had quite a few sick looking people out there and the washrooms were constantly full too. While there in Bar Harbor check out the State Park...what a fantastic view! Enjoy!
