Folks doing both rallies

We are going to be headed to the Dragon rally after the international.

 

Is anyone else doing the same? There is some time there for site seeing and we are looking either to tag along with someone who wants to do the same.

 

Gotta see as much as possible in those few days as its pretty rare we can get that far away from home.

 

The trip home will be a race of sorts to make it back in time for some cage camping with friends here so we wont have much site seeing time then.

i planning on going. i have registered and got a campsite reserved. i have to see what shape i am in after the 09 rally and how hot it is. i probably won't leave st. charles til tuesday, august 11th.. if you go, you will enjoy it. lewis puts on a topnotch meet. i've been there for the last two. bill

I will be at the International in Arkansas and then at the Dragon/Vogel. In fact I live about 30 minutes from Vogel. Be glad to show you around this area in north Georgia.

 

There are lots of interesting and not so interesting routes between Arkansas and Georgia, I've made the trip many times, as my grandparents lived in Arkansas.

 

Memphis (Beale Street) and Nashville are on one route.

Rick, Gayle and myself are heading south after Arkasas for the weekend and then working our way back up towards Vogel. Hopefully we can stop in and make the rally.

Think about making a stop in memphis to see Beale Street. This thread has me thinking that would be a good thing for me to do when leaving the international.

 

From Memphis its just a jump south to New Orleans and then a swing past Mobile on your way to Vogel.
