EddyG Posted July 5, 2009 #3 Posted July 5, 2009 That's just dumb. Can't tell me that was his only vehicle. I read the title and thought a goldwing hit a ladder on the highway. I was heading home from a day trip with my wife yesterday, and in the middle of the road was a 10 foot ladder. I started imagining what would happen if a bike would hit it. Like I can imagine if someone clipped this guys ladder while he was riding.
Skid Posted July 5, 2009 #4 Posted July 5, 2009 I bet if a cop saw him, but he would be laughing too hard to pull him over.
ahoutzer Posted July 5, 2009 #5 Posted July 5, 2009 That's just dumb. Can't tell me that was his only vehicle. Why not?
Snarley Bill Posted July 5, 2009 #6 Posted July 5, 2009 i worked with a nut that carried a twenty foot extension ladder on his 75 wing. he put it over his head and then put his helmet on had it going front to rear. he also bought some 8' 2 by 4s, and had the kid at the hardwhere store tie them on to him while he sat on the bike.
Hummingbird Posted July 5, 2009 #7 Posted July 5, 2009 If he doesn't exceed the width limit ( 8' 6" ) and has it secure he's as legal as anybody. Just not as smart as most
