KarlS Posted July 4, 2009 #1 Posted July 4, 2009 (edited) I guy about 2 miles from my house has a 1976 GL1000 Goldwing he will sell for $150.00. I looked at the bike and it has Vetter faring and hard bags. Faring and bags are white and rest of bike red. Has the chrome guard rails around the hard bags. Like a lot of people up here he lost his job and moved to a house with no garage. He has a 71 Harley and a 79 CX500 and no money or room to do anything with the wing. Bike has been setting outside under a plastic tarp. Engine is free (not frozen up) I has no idea that 76 also had a kick start on them. Lots of surface rust on chrome and winshied broken. Left front fork tube would need to be replaced. Would also make a great parts bike. If I had a garage I would buy it. But all he wants is $150.00 and someone to come and get it. If interested PM me and I will give you my phone number and answer your questions. Edited July 4, 2009 by KarlS correction
Russ Posted July 4, 2009 #2 Posted July 4, 2009 wish i could take it, but if I add one more broke bike to the stable before I get one of the current broke bikes fixed, I'm gonna be looking for a garage to live in.

Guest seuadr Posted July 4, 2009 #5 Posted July 4, 2009 title or no? that is right near my parent's house.
mini-muffin Posted July 4, 2009 #6 Posted July 4, 2009 I can send you the money I just have to figure out how to get it here. Muffinman doesn't like me towing bikes, something about driving too fast while towing. I have no idea what he means. Margaret
