2nd Gen Seat

Question for the board.

 

I have the oportunity to purchase an original style seat for my 2003 Midnight Venture. I currently have the corbin seat (came with the bike).

What would be a fair and reasonable price for this seat. It appears to be in excelent condition.

Brand new (thru South Seattle Sports Plaza prices), front seat is $275, passenger seat is $222. I would probably pay for "like new" rarely used for about $100 each.

I've seen Fronts on ebay bring up to $225.00... with around $150.00 being the norm. Rears are usually around $100.00.

About the cheapest I've seen them go for on E-bay was about $139.00. I've also seen them go for quite a bit more too.

What year is it from?

Depends on which Corbin seat it is. If it is the king/queen (driver/rider) as one seat, it can be much more. If it also has the backrest, it can be $300+ (gone higher on EBay).

 

Edit: Reread the original and realized he was looking for a price for the OEM seats, not the Corbin. Never mind.

It is a two piece king/queen + backrest - it's not the pillow seat.
