It's been years since I've been out that way,so I can't give ya any help... But if you find any good bars to eat at,please write them down... And then you can be a contributor to the book that I'm going to write before they plant me....... "Bar Food For Bikers" a guide to the best food and coldest beer..

Well, I got a new one for you....last weekend in Soldiers Grove WI, we stayed at "Country Gardens Motel and Lounge". The managers are great, but the food!!!!!!!!!!!!! They serve home made pizza with a side bowl of chopped tomatoes, fresh garlic and olive oil to put on top!! It was delicious.....till somone told us to try the "Bourbon Tenders" under the appetizer section.....Gary was drooling. He can't stop talking about it! Great bar, great people, and ICE cold beer!! Hear the Rueben's are great also!

sarges46 Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 If you like the pub type thing.....Wild Bills Legendary Bar and Pub is the place. It gets rocking and the food is very good. Dont expect all the fineries and polish though...this is a pub. The greek resteraunts are good too.....down the road....we ate at Giorgos...I think it was. Good greek food. The Keg in the northern part of the city ripped off my friend by double dipping his credit card.....this was discovered an hour later when he went to purchase another item and was over limit.
