RoadTraveler Posted June 30, 2009 #2 Posted June 30, 2009 I was there on Friday. My wife has family in Ebensberg nearby. We were there early in the afternoon so we missed the big crowd. Yamaha had a tent and was giving demo rides. They also had bikes on display including a Venture with $4,600 of accessories on it. Didn't know they made that many. FYI-Ebensberg has a bike rally and car show on the Thursday night preceeding the Johnstown rally. I would highly recommend it. Huge crowd and excellent car show.
McBrush Posted June 30, 2009 #3 Posted June 30, 2009 Yes, always a good time. We camped in the Cambria County Fairgrounds up in Ebensburg and went to their 'Wheels and Wings' downtown on Thursday night. Made all our usual stops in Johnstown, including a ride on the incline for the newcomers, and did some nice cruising north into Clearfield and surrounding areas. My 7th year in a row, it's inked in on my calendar every year.
McBrush Posted June 30, 2009 #4 Posted June 30, 2009 More pics from Ebensburg and Scooter's in Johnstown.
Yama Mama Posted June 30, 2009 #5 Posted June 30, 2009 I really love your photos. That GTO gave me chills. We would love to go there sometime, but will go to our rally here. YamaMama:hurts:

McBrush Posted June 30, 2009 #7 Posted June 30, 2009 Yeah, I saw a few Ventures but I was on my Virago. Since my Venture is up for sale I'm not taking it on these rides. Gettysburg Bike Week doesn't do much for me but we have a group that meets there and takes a nice few-hours ride up through the Tuscarora Mountain twisties. Mostly Viragos on that ride, we have had as many as 14 out of 18 riders on Viragos. And of course, no, the Virago did NOT go into the trailer! LOL
