Looking for some help.

The front light bar, stopped working. Switch? wiring? in the fairing? Any suggestions on a best place to start looking? Where do I find the fuses in the bike?

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

First thing I would do is check fuses.

One fuse box is under the left side cover (If you are sitting on your bike and let your left arm dangle - you would be able to touch it with your left hand)

The second fuse box is in the cowling that is by the rear brake pedal.

I do not recall at the moment which one has the headlamp fuse in it -- Depending on how your lamps are wired it may or may not be on that circuit.

The next thing to do would be to trace the wiring for your lamps, looking for an inline fuse.

Of course, check your bulbs too.

You could try using the search tool on this forum and find a slew of information regarding the light bars etc.

Also the owner's manual and service manual (for wiring diagrams) may be of some use depending on how involved the issue may be.

Good luck

I would check the connection in the faring where the switch is tied in with the power source. Who ever installed mine used one of those slipover wire conectors and it lost contact where it was tied into the switch.

I sodered it and no more problem.

Do you have the driving light bar ? with turns under each one ? There's got to be a fuse in line somewhere. Start at the battery and work your way toward the lights. If there's not and extra wire coming off the battery, see if there is an aux fuse block

Well, found the issue. Cracked fuse in the small fuze holder, under the seat. Must have happened when I put the seat back on after installing the alarm system.

Thanks for the earlier comments.
