rear air shock

my dear YAMA BROTHERS here is a question that even the pros ( dealer) couldn't answear so i turn to my brothers. i have a 2003 midnight venture and i did the universal joint on in and when i remove the rear shock i also removed the air line attached to it and accidently spilled oil from inside the shock. does anyone know how much oil is in the shock or how much to put back in if the shock is completly empty

You removed the air line from the shock itself??

yes i did then i figure out that i could have removed it the other way

thanks for that article that helped out alot i will take it apart againg and add only 7.5oz of oil
