mini-muffin Posted June 28, 2009 Share #1 Posted June 28, 2009 First I want to thank Yammer and Patsy for letting us stay with them this weekend. It was great to actually meet Patsy. We had a great time staying with you guys even with that driveway of yours. Next I'd like to thanks Skid & Leslie for putting up with us and torturing them with something being up but not knowing what we were about to do. Next I'd really like to thank Riderduke for letting me hitch a ride this weekend. It was fun. I'll warm my hands up next time. Margaret

FROG MAN Posted June 29, 2009 Share #7 Posted June 29, 2009 I tried to start the 84 this evening. Electrical system totally dead even with a battery charger on it. Guess I need to check my connections. Seems Like I remember another scoot over about snowshoe just starting up the scenic highway that died like that one time. skydoc_17 Posted June 29, 2009 Share #9 Posted June 29, 2009 All I know is I escorted a Brown VR past the Saab graveyard, (what a Sob story) up a dogpatch, washed out, more bends than a snake with a broken back road, onto the highway and into Skid's garage! Other than that, I haven't seen one! That's my story, and I'm stickin' to it! Earl
Yammer Dan Posted June 29, 2009 Share #10 Posted June 29, 2009 (edited) Came after a Saab and ended up with a 1st Gen!! At least we stayed 1st Class! I've only looked out the window to see if it was there about 150 times. Didn't realize how much I did that til she was gone!!! I think we managed to get the Warden a little more interested in these things this weekend. Thanks to everyone for that. Maybe she will learn to like them as much as I do!! mini-muffin Posted June 29, 2009 Author Share #11 Posted June 29, 2009 Someone needs to bring a video camera up to Dan's so everyone know's about that road. Though I think it would be best experienced in person. Peggy dear Whatever do you mean? Margaret
mini-muffin Posted June 29, 2009 Author Share #12 Posted June 29, 2009 I should have also thanked everyone for there help with Leslie's shower. Sorry to those I didn't get a chance to warn before they got there. I just had a short list to go through of those who said they'd be there. So I apologize for not giving more warning. But it turned out great. A big thank you to Ramona for getting the cake it was great and I think Leslie and Skid will be eating the left overs for a while. Also thanks for the decorations Ramona and Patricia. Even though skid almost caught us with them. Margaret

Head over to the Metric Thunder thread for the rest of the story.
