quick question on 1st generation

Can someone tell me when the 2 gear issue was taken care of with the 1st generation bikes. Going to look at a 86 and I'm thinking it was taken care of by this time. Thanks

Yup, they changed out the soft thust washer previously used, somewhere during the 85 production run.

somebody will chime in soon but i think the second gear prob was taken care of in 85.
